Cookies are one of the must have snacks at our home. It's an indulgence, but sometimes you just need THAT cookie to make your day.

I've found out that Byron Bay Cookies have created a new Limited Edition cookie for this Winter - Dark Chocolate Orange Cookie, and how can a cookie lover resist the temptation of a limited edition cookie?

The kind PR not only gave me a selection of their cookies to try, but a big packet of their Limited Edition cookies to keep for myself share with my family! And something for you too! What? Yes! Of course, did you not see the header of this post?!

About the product:
  • Multi-award winning cookies
  • Buy online here
  • Facebook and Twitter
  • Winter Limited Edition Dark Chocolate Orange Cookie
  • Made with 30% premium european Dark chocolate chunks and a hint of orange zest

My review:

The first thing I thought when I opened the packet of Dark Chocolate Orange cookies was: Wow it smells gorgeous! I was taking pictures of it and couldn't resist any longer, so I took a bite. Worked quite well in the pic ;) It's also very big, if you go to a cafe and grab one of these cookies, you'll be leaving the cafe feeling very satisfied for sure!

The rest of the cookies were all a great surprise as well:

Lemon & Macadamia Nut Shortbread was buttery with a hint of lemon, packed with macadamia nuts.

Sticky Date, Ginger & Walnut Cookie is chewy with big chunks of dates and a hint of ginger and spices. The walnuts added another dimension to the cookie, and it has won a gold Greate Taste Award!

Cranberry & White Choc Chunk is chewy as well with lots of cranberries and white chocolate chunks. They are very generous with the cranberries, not like many others I had before where I can only see specks of red pieces, and the white chocolate tends to overpower the whole cookie. The cranberries in these cookies definitely balanced the sweetness of the white chocolates.

Triple Choc Fudge has a satisfying amount of dark and white chocolate chunks and pieces of fudge. This has won an award as well.

Dotty has a strong vanilla cookie taste with chunks of milk chocolate and colourful chocolate drops on it. Although it looked like it's made for children, I wouldn't mind keeping it to myself!
White Choc Chunk & Macadamia Nut has loads od white choc and Macadamia Nuts pieces. After finishing it my mouth is still full of the nutty flavour, nice!
My favourite has to be the Dark Chocolate Orange and the Dotty!
