Hotter Sandals - Kiwi

Kiwi sandals in Soft Beige

Although the weather is miserable, Summer is officially here! Wardrobes are being changed - Winter clothes out, Summer clothes in, and it's time to let our toes see the world again! I think the last time I've bought a pair of decent sandals for myself was at least 3 years ago. They were durable, but they definitely look worn.

So when Hotter, the British shoes company who I've written about in my Jubilee Guide (their Great British limited edition shoes Leanne), contacted me regarding a review for one of their Summer sandals, I couldn't resist. How could I? Their shoes were so soft and heavenly when walked in, and I do wonder how they can make sandals with the same softness, since most sandals have a hard base.

I chose a pair of Kiwi as I really liked the feminine design. When hubby saw them he said that they looked very classy! Oooo!

I was very impressed, the base is so soft, and it's breathable as well. To my surprise, the insole are removable! It's fastened onto the sandals with Velcro. If you have you own orthopaedic/ medical insoles, you can replace these with them.

The straps at the back and the front are adjustable to suit different foot shapes, and they are made of soft leather for comfort. There is no rubbing problem at the back for me, but the front at the top of my feet does get rubbed a bit by the strap, which can easily be sorted with some plasters for the first few wears.
