Disney Princess and Disney Fairies Bath Time

Disney Princess, Disney Fairy, Bath products

Since Abby was born, I have insisted that we would not get her any princessy things, as I wasn't keen in the idea of having my daughter dreaming about being a princess, nor do I like the concept of beauty is good, ugly is evil. Although I have done very well with that, I failed with the fairy merchandise, especially those from Disney. I just adore them! I wouldn't spoil my daughter with the merchandise, but if anyone asked, I would always prefer them to buy fairy products for Abby than the princess ones.

I was fairly successful until Abby was around 3 years old, when she discovered about princesses herself through the media and friends. I wasn't too strict about it anymore, although the odd challenging behaviours from her aunts pushing princessy stuff on her to get her to like them did give me a frown or two! Yes, you know who you are *smirks*

And then there was Tangled. Abby absolutely loved the show and she's been watching it for the n-th time now. So when I opened the parcel full of Disney Princess and Fairies Bath products sent by H&A 's PR, she quickly asked for a bath after her Ooos and Aaas.

It wasn't just her getting all excited, I was as well. Not only were the Bath & Shower Wash well packaged as well as being labelled 'Hypoallergenic', 'Mild & Gentle' and 'Moisturising', the wash was shimmery as well. It sounded like great fun to be bathing in 'pixy dusts'!

As expected, the water was all shimmery. The wash didn't have a lot of bubbles, but bath time was equally fun, if not better! Abby has been asking me to give her a sparkly bath ever since! The Fairy one smelled of green apple, while the Princess one smelled more of sparkling fruit punch. You can buy the bath & shower wash (500ml) from Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda for rrp £2.00.

The first thing Abby took with her to the bathroom after we have opened the parcel was the Disney Fairy Magic Facecloth and Disney Princess Bath Beauty - Ariel wash buddy. The magic facecloth (rrp £2 from Sainsbury's and Asda) expanded into a soft good sized facecloth, while Ariel (rrp £4.00 from Asda and Boots) was made with water friendly fabric and can be played inside the bath. They have both been keeping Abby entertained in the bath while we were catching a short break.

There were also 3 travel-size bubble bath jewels (rrp £1 from Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda) that are shimmery as well included in the parcel, which is great for making holiday bath time equally special. My favourite is Cinderella's Blueberry Sorbet as it smelled lovely (I have a thing for body wash that has a berry fragrance)! Another way for a fun bath time!
