At my age (no I'm not THAT old) there can never be enough skincare to try out. Even if you are using what you think is the best skincare for you, there are always new technology that creates better products. Besides, unless you have tried them all, you really don't know whether you are using the best or not.
I was sent a lovely selection of beauty products, including Dr. Organic's Organic Rose Otto Day Cream and Dr. Organic's Organic Pomegranate Advanced Recovery Eye Cream. I've tried the creams for a few days. They both feel luxuriously rich and creamy, and smelled divine, although I favour the Pomegranate more.
The day cream contains pure organic Rose Otto Oil, which claims to be rich in antioxidant, as well as some other bioactive, natural and organic ingredients. As a day cream, it might be a bit too thick and heavy during the warmer days, but it will be great when its getting cold outside. Although heavy, it's very nourishing and my skin feels really soft and I smelled good too! Do note that it does not have UVA/ UVB protection, so you might want to use a moisturiser that does have it together with the cream.
The eye cream's texture is very similar to the day cream, nourishing but a bit heavy on the skin, although I really love the delicate pomegranate smell. My fine lines seems to have reduced a bit, although my eye bags are still dark and puffy, as I sleep too late.
I honestly can't say whether the effect will last, but how many brands out there are willing to say that you can stop using their anti-aging products once you've achieved some anti-aging? I still think that it's a lovely product, and even health stores stock them, let alone all the awards they have won in the past to proof that they are not just another skincare brand, they are something.
The day cream cost £9.79 and the eye cream cost £9.29. Both can be bought at Holland & Barrett. I'll continue using this cream and I'll keep you posted if there is any changes, for the better or worse.
