Daddy I'm a Zombie! DVD

Daddy I'm a zombie!, Halloween DVD, children Halloween

A spooky show for the children this Halloween! Dixie, a troubled teenager, found herself turned into a zombie one day, and must befriend an Egyptian Mummy Princess Isis and a pirate cabin boy Gonner to defeat the evil witch Nubulosa from taking over the World with her zombie army.

Seeing that the rating is only PG, I thought that it was alright for Abby to watch it together, but she was a bit spooked out! I really feel for Dixie, a lot of children go through the bullying phase, and perhaps this whole zombie thing is her way of finding the right mentality to deal with her issues. Or is it? Did it really happen?!

Although it is spooky, I enjoyed the humor as well. A lot of times I found myself saying: "awww I feel so sorry for her (Dixie or Isis)" but chuckled at their misfortune at the same time (I know! I'm mean aren't I?!).

Now if there was subtitle included I would understand the show more. I'm just one of those who goes to the cinema and bother the one sitting next to me: 'What?! What did he say?!' Maybe it's my English, or maybe I have been spoiled with subtitles in Hong Kong (all movies in cinemas come with subtitles, let it be foreign or local) So yes, if I watch a show in the cinema, especially those with all the science and technical terms (ahhh, I know you agree with me!), I'll need to watch it again when it's out on DVD/ Blu-ray.

Daddy I'm a Zombie! is definitely worth watching especially during a Halloween party if you are holding one. It last for about 79 minutes. 79 minutes for you to catch your breath, have a cuppa and regroup! The DVD is only rrp £6.99 too.
