I love love love surprise parcels! Postman has delivered a surprise from Lionsgate - Gummy Bear: The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa DVD. To make it more fun for our kids to review the show, they have included a mould and jelly to make our own Yummy Gummy bear to eat while watching the show! It was very thoughtful of them as Gummy Bear certainly made me want to take a bite of him, especially when part of his ear was already chewed off!

If you are a YouTube fan, you should know who Gummy Bear is. He's been singing and dancing all over the Internet! He's so popular he has his own range of merchandises as well. His DVD was released in October 2012, in time to celebrate Christmas with us this year.

In the show, Santa has been kidnapped (or gambled away by his reindeer including Rudy to a cheating alien!) and it's down to Gummy Bear and his friends - Harry the Chameleon who tends to get ignored and likes to claim that he knows something which he doesn't, the bossy yet sweet cat Kala and a vampire bat Vam Piro who sleeps through any disaster but will faint at the sight of blood, to find him to save Christmas.

The show is absolutely hilarious!. The grumpy reindeer were so mean to Santa it made us laugh out loud, and every so often Gummy Bear and his friends will start to sing and dance in the show, almost always at the wrong time!

I love it that Gummy Bear looks so funnily wrong (underpants, half mooning bottom and bouncy *excuse me* moobs). I also love the songs, and I was glad that they've included 5 music videos in the features, including the YouTube hit song "I am a Gummy Bear" as well as the animation's Christmas song, which made us feel like dancing!

I'm still useless with watching a show that has no subtitles, but Abby laughed at the show all the way through.

Overall, a great show to watch for a cheery Christmas filled with laughter and music to dance to!
