belVita Breakfast - Strawberry and Live Yogurt Duo Crunch

As foodies, we don't really believe in replacing a meal with something simple such as a shake or biscuit. If we have a choice, we will sit down and eat our meals, even if it's just a bowl of cereals or a sandwich. But sometimes when you are on the go, you don't really have that kind of luxury, and a quick bite on the move will have to do.

For such occasions, one of my 'quick bite on the go' option would be belVita breakfast biscuits. Their Milk and Cereals flavour are one of our favourite ones. Recently they've launched a Yogurt Crunch range, including a filling between 2 belVita biscuits. That has certainly made them more interesting.

The lovely PRs has sent me the latest addition to the range - Duo Crunch Strawberry & Live Yogurt filling to try, with a lovely package to help me stay ahead with our busy schedule! Very thoughtful! The bonus was not the package however. The new flavour becoming an instant hit in our house was! We had to keep them away from our kids as they have taken a huge liking to them, and to be fair, it's really a biscuit for us not them!

The biscuits smelled absolutely gorgeous and were delicious. They go really well with tea or coffee too! A mix of summer fruit and cream/ yogurt is always my favourite choice for sweet things. I think that the amount of berry and yogurt is quite balanced as well.

The biscuits are made with a blend of 5 wholegrains, is a great source of fibre and calcium, and includes Vitamin B1, E, Magnesium and Iron. I rather not comment on the sugar as it's something that I rather they keep than replace with some chemicals! The price for a box (253g) of 5 packs (each has 2 duo crunch biscuits) is £2.69, but you can buy them now for £2 at Tesco.
