Miners Cosmetics Colour & Kohl Pencil Collection

Ever since I've learned how to use an eyeliner properly, there is no going back. I have only used black and never even thought about using other colours (well, apart from brown), let alone ones that shimmers, until Miners Cosmetics sent me a set of their new Colour & Kohl Pencil collection to try!

The Colour & Kohl pencils come in 4 colours: the basic black and brown, as well as blue and gold. They are very easy to use, just a gentle draw on my arm and I've got plenty of colour to work with! Smudging it is easy as well, but of course you'll need a smudger for it. Some people use ear buds but I think that they are quite rough.

I had a look around at how people use blue eyeliner, and found the one above (she's so pretty!). Very nice and subtle! I'd love to try that one day. There are the bold ways of course, but I wouldn't be able to pull that off.

Gold eyeliner is less obvious if smudged, but as an eyeliner it can be too much for some people if they don't use it right. The effect is similar to white with golden shimmer, and is great for highlighting the inner corner of the eyes, like the above picture. Using it as overall can make your eyes look swollen though. I think I'll stick to using it as a highlighter.

For £1.99 each, it's an absolute bargain! I still don't understand how they can sell their products so cheap. Not only are they selling them in Harrods, their makeup are also used every Sunday night by all contestants on the popular Dancing on Ice show.

Miners Cosmetics are currently running weekly competitions for Dancing on Ice live show tickets to support this partnership.
