Blog On 2013 Outfit Sponsor - Curvety

Curvety Plus Size Fashion Online Store, Plus Size Dresses

This weekend, I'll be attending the first Blog On bloggers event! It is held by Blogs Up North, a bloggers network created to give us Northern bloggers plenty of event opportunities to meet up and have fun. Through these meet ups, we get to know other Northern bloggers better while enjoying opportunities that are normally available to Southern bloggers (most events are still being held in London) only.

On Saturday some of us will be gathering at Red Hot World's Buffet in Manchester for a pre- Blog On dinner. Me, hubby and the kids have been there last year and have enjoyed ourselves, so I'm really looking forward to it while connecting with others prior to the event! Bloggers event become that much more fun when you know the people you are meeting as it's just like meeting up with friends!

And for the first time ever, my outfit is being sponsored! Curvety plus size fashion online store is one of the plus size fashion stores that I really love as they stock amazing outfits, especially dresses, so being sponsored by them is a big deal to me!

I have always been drooling over the US plus size brand IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel's gorgeous dresses but never bought one as I can't quite afford them (their quality, according to several plus size fashion bloggers, are worth every penny!), after the cost for postage and return (just in case) plus the import tax has been added. Now I know I have more hope in owning one because I can buy them through Curvety!

I was really keen in the above IGIGI Vintage Polka Dot dress for Blog On, but it has to be pre-ordered. I'd still consider buying it though!

For Blog On, I was send the above gorgeous Retro Glam Lace Dress by Kiyonna that came with a lovely removable satin tie and brooch instead. It's really comfortable and light weight, and certainly a quality dress! I haven't worn a dress since 2006 so I'm really excited! I didn't wear the belt simply because I look better this way, but for people who can wear it, it's a really beautiful addition to the dress!

Now fingers crossed my shoes and bag will arrive in time, and hopefully they will match the dress or I'll be doing a last minute shopping on Saturday to find something that will!
