New Kellog's Special K Multi-Grain Porridge Competition - CLOSED

Kellog's Special K, Multi-Grain Porridge, Instant Porridge

The weather has been on and off lately, either really warm (thankfully it happens on weekends as well!) or really cold! On a cold day, we love having porridge for breakfast to keep us full and warm for the rest of the morning. I love mine with lots of texture but most porridge are only made with oats. Kellog's has recently launched their new Special K Multi-Grain Porridge that contains barley, oats and rye, and barley is one of my favourite grain as I love the chewy texture! This had to be good! They have kindly sent me 3 different flavours to try (Original, Almond & Honey and Red berries), and also offered one of my reader 3 months supply of their porridge! How lovely is that!

Like other porridge, the sachets only takes 2 minutes in the microwave to cook. I do prefer to pause and stir the porridge after a minute so there is less chance for lumps to form and they won't be splattering all over the microwave (which normally happens in mine). Like imagined, the texture is fantastic! I really love the "chewiness" from the barley, and it's quite tasty too (our favourite is red berries). I do like my porridge with a bit more liquid, so I added a bit more milk to it. It's quite filling and long lasting so I didn't need to snack before the next meal. They currently have 3 flavous available, but seeing that they have so many different flavours in the Special K cereals range, I'm sure there will be more flavours to come! I'll be looking forward to their Apricot flavour!

You can buy them now for £1.99 per box of sachets or 99p per pot. And now you can win yourself a 3 months supply of the delicious porridge too!
