B-qubed Beanbag with Tabletop - Berry

A couple of weeks ago Room to Grow has kindly sent us one of their B-qubed Beanbag with Tabletop (£79.99, 11 colours) to review. Initially I thought that it'll make fantastic side/ coffee table for our living room, which we lack of, and an additional chair when we have guests over. But the kids has taken over it on day one and it has now become our official LEGO construction table!

The B-qubed Beanbag is covered with a 2-way stretchable, breathable and waterproof PU fabric that gives a leather look and feel. It has a hole in the middle where you can put your arm through from all sides, making it easy to move the beanbag around (instead of hugging the whole thing, you just need to hold one edge). The Tabletop is made of black hard plastic that has a tray in the middle, which fits into any of the Beanbag's hole.

The kids have quickly took over the table with their games and toys! We didn't even have a say of what we wanted it for! They really like the beanbag (the kids' first beanbag!) and Abby will sometimes try to stick her whole leg into the beanbag (not recommended!) and pretend that she's stuck or she is a robot.

After we used it to put our LEGO Fire Station (which is now in pieces for the Nth time thanks to Clay, although it is one of his favourite toy) on, however, it has kind of become a permanent LEGO construction table! It's perfect as the edges of the tabletop bends up so smaller pieces remains on the tabletop, and we can simply brush the loose and small pieces into the middle tray for tidying up and rebuilding times (I can soon build the whole Fire Station without looking at the manual. Ha!).

Sometimes the tabletop wont stay levelled on top of the beanbag, just a quick adjustment on the beanbag and it'll be fixed. We are really glad to have it as it's sitting perfectly under the window without taking up a lot of space and it's keeping our LEGO at bay! You can use it for something else of course. When we have guests it will be used as an extra table (dont have to worry about spillage either, very easy to clean and wont spill over onto the floor!) or chair.
