Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream

Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, Copper PCA, anti-aging cream

Let's face it. I'm not young anymore. I get sick easier and it lasts longer too. My body seems to be giving up in the War against Gravity (it's been so long after all), and now my face too! My mind hasn't given up yet though, after all, who wants to look like they are 10 years older than they really are?

I've tried a few anti-wrinkle creams before, but found them either very heavy or they made my face feel really tight, it's like putting a layer of thin glue on my face to stick my skin in place. I guess that work in some way.

Recently my favourite cosmetics brand Kiehl's has launched their new anti-aging product in the UK - Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, and they have kindly send me one to try. It has only been 2 weeks but I thought I should write my first post about it (after all, the longer you use them, the results will be more obvious).

Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream contains Copper PCA (copper salt), Calcium PCA (calcium salt) and Abyssine, as well as other anti-aging ingredients.

I tried doing a search on Google for more information about the ingredients, and from what I can make out, all the above ingredients are natural and are fantastic humectants, meaning that they take in the moisture and retain it in our skin. I gave up on trying to understand the details further though. As long as nothing harmful is in the jar I'm more than happy to try them out.

Although I've only tried the cream for 2 weeks, I actually see results! First of all, the most obvious thing you'll notice is that a tiny bit goes a very long way. Although the cream seems thick, you'll notice that it's actually very light when you take a bit out from the jar. A quick dab on each cheek, chin and forehead and you can easily spread it all over your face. It absorbs instantly by the skin, leaving my skin silky smooth.

Initially I only noticed a difference on my skin after applying the cream. 2 weeks later however, not only are my stretched pores smaller, it has become very obvious that my eyes look comparatively dull with lots of fine wrinkles. Eeekk! To be fair though, I haven't put anything on my eyes apart from Kiehl's Line Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate at night (it's a bit sticky for day for me). My eyes looked a bit better this morning, but I seriously need something for the day as well. So yesterday I bought their Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream (£32.00), now waiting for it to arrive and hopefully will help me. I'll keep you posted!

So, so far I'm really happy with Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, and I'll be looking at my skin again in another 2 weeks time. I'll update the result here as well!
