Asobi Toys Sticky Mosaics

Asobi Toys, Children Art and Craft Kit, Mosaics by Numbers

Last month I gave away 2 Sticky Mosaics (or Mosaics by Numbers) kits, thanks to Asobi Toys. And thanks to them, we were given the opportunity to review the kits ourselves too! I knew Abby would love them as they are fairly simple yet fun to do. The sparkling jewels are very attractive as well, even on the Sticky Mosaics Pirates kit!

So over the Easter holidays we've reviewed

Sticky Mosaics Pirates (£12.99) and

The Pirates kit contains 4 designs for children above 5 to work on, and includes more than enough sticky mosaics foam pieces, some with special patterns on top and gemstones as well for children to use on their designs. Each of the design comes with a stick on wall hanger too so children can proudly hang their finished projects on the wall.

We liked it that the mosaics pieces weren't just plain sticky foam. The gemstones definitely added a special touch to the finished project, and we love the special pattern ones as well. The design mix and match different patterns on an area to create a much better effect.

The Disney Princess kit contains 3 designs for children over 4 years to work on, each comes with a stick on wall hanger, and again plenty of mosaics foam pieces and sticky jewels for the projects. The mixture of sticky jewels and glittery foam pieces made the craft kits really attractive for kids to do, and the finished projects are very pretty!

Both kits are value for money as you get 3 to 4 projects in each kit, and each design requires a good amount of time for children to work on, making them perfect for quiet play or on a rainy day when they have to stay inside. I think that with the Disney Princess jewels, it might be easier if kids use tweezers to handle them as they are fairly small.

The quality of the sticky foams are fantastic. They are very sticky indeed and the patterned/ glitter tops are quite hard as well, so they don't break easily. Each Sticky Mosaics design are printed on quality cards as well. Just look at Ariel's background image, so pretty!

Abby loves doing the kits, but she's a fairly interactive person so she prefer to do them with someone. It's quite easy for 2 children (or parent and child) to work on the same design at the same time as well, as there are different areas to cover with different patterns. A fun way to encourage team work!

Sticky Mosaics has a wide range of products, there bound to be something suitable for your child. They can even decorate their own trinket boxes, treasure chest or their own pet toy too!
