Easter Adventure with Skylander Hoot Loop

Easter Skylanders Swapforce, Easter family day out in the North West, Easter to do

Our Easter holiday is officially over! Abby is back to school today, and even the sun has stopped shinning for a bit! Let's hope that it'll be back soon. It's almost Summer after all!

During the Easter holiday Abby has been taking her Skylander Swapforce character Hoot Loop around for some Easter adventure! She has always loved Hoot Loop because of its magical nature and the colour!

While me and hubby were rushing through some work before Easter, Abby did some Easter crafts with Hoot Loop at home. I think he approves!

On Easter Friday we had my birthday lunch at Wasabi Sushi Bar in Manchester. Abby loves sushi and she enjoyed her lunch very much! I think she ate more than she normally would, but it's always nice to take a bite off Hoot Loop's wand... (?!)

We went to the Museum of Science and Industry afterwards, but they had so much fun we've forgotten to take a picture of them exploring!

On Saturday we ventured to the park for some cycling fun! It was a lovely day and Abby and Hoot Loop did really well cycling around! Could it be Hoot Loop's magic that made Abby zoom passed us like a red shadow?

On Easter Sunday, we went to another park for some proper Easter fun. This was one of the more successful Easter Egg/ Treasure Hunt I've seen! It's within a good sized garden, and the clues were fairly challenging and fun. It really got Abby and Hoot Loop running around (perfect for draining their energy). They had so much fun and even won a medal and a goodie bag for finding the answer!

We had some yummy lunch afterwards and headed straight for an indoor play area as it was a bit chilly outside. We were really glad that the indoor play was open on Easter Sunday! Me and Hubby sat there until we almost dozed off, but the kids and Hoot Loop seemed to have unlimited energy. Perhaps we'll have a word with Hoot Loop next time and ask him not to charge the kids up so much.

On the last day of Abby's Easter holiday, we celebrated Easter the traditional way - Easter Egg Rolling at Avenham Park in Preston! They have been doing this for hundreds of years, so it really is a "must visit" during Easter! Even the sun worked hard for the big event!

There were so many people when we arrived, and the hourly Easter Egg Rolling event was just about to start. It was pretty impressive to watch the kids rolling their eggs down the hill, especially if you watch it from below! We had to keep Hoot Loop somewhere safe of course as he was eager to run after the eggs as well. Can't have him getting lost in the crowd!

The kids and Hoot Loop had a fantastic Easter holiday, and they are already looking forward to the May bank holiday! Hope you had a lovely holiday as well, and for those who still have a week to go, enjoy the rest of the week!
