Crayola and #MyCrayolaMovie

As part of the Crayola blogger program, I was sent a box full of amazing Crayola craft products! We've had lots of fun using them and I thought I should do a quick mention about them. I'm featuring the Crayola Creation products in a different post, so do come back for that!

I'm sure most of us know about Crayola's pencils, crayons, markers and even chalks. They are perfectly safe for children, even young ones, to use (or eat *ehem*), and the washable ones are even better for young children like Clay to use (no more cleaning panic for me!). The colours come out strong even for crayons and pencils, making it easier for children to draw and colour effortlessly, and the pictures comes out clearer as well, which I think is very important!

Now. I'm really impressed with this Crayola Design and Sketch Set! I've called it mine and Abby can "borrow" them after asking me nicely (mean mummy). The colours are stronger than it is shown in the picture but the picture came out really dark and I had to brighten it up by a lot. I had lots of fun playing with the colours though! It also comes with sketching pencils in different softness (my favourite is 2B), a whole range of colours, an eraser and a pencil sharpener. It also comes with a stack of A5 sheets for sketching, and a quick guide/ inspiration sheet on some sketching techniques. The case is very handy for bringing it around, and you just need a clipboard to hold the papers to sketch on.

The set also comes with a code for you to unlock 6 months of full access for the Crayola's online Story Studio.

Crayola also do a lot of other craft products, for example the giant Moshi Monsters Colouring Pages that comes with 18 giant pictures for children above 3 to colour, and the fascinating Crayola Colour Wonder Mess Free Colouring packs. The packs comes with a set of 5 colour wonder markers, which appears to be invisible, but colours will magically appear on the areas that are to be coloured in. And! Different colour will come through by using different invisible markers! How cool is that? I also love the hidden pictures which doesn't seem to be part of the design, but will appear if you try scribbling over empty areas. I highly recommend the Colour Wonder Mess Free Colouring range!

Now for your kids half term Crayola fun, why not download the above Activity Pack (.PDF file) to get them involved? There are some fun children movie quiz and more information about how to create their own #MyCrayolaMovie which they can enter for a chance to win their own red carpet at your chosen ODEON cinema!

A big thank you to Vivid Imaginations - Crayola and ODEON for the lovely Guest tickets as well! We went to Manchester Trafford Centre IMAX to watch Rio 2. It was amazing! I highly recommend Rio 2 especially if you love to laugh lots and enjoy Samba music! We've been listening to the soundtrack ever since and now waiting "patiently" for the Blu-ray to come out in August!

Happy half term!
