Because of my new hobby, I started to look at things differently. Have you seen Cheryl on the new X Factor? She is so pretty! To be honest I'm happy to see her and Simon back, the show just isn't the same without them! I wonder which team she'll get to mentor and whether they will win? We don't really gamble but we don't mind a harmless game of "guess who will win this year" every now and then. Of course we won't get the children involved as I don't want them to start being judgmental this early.
But every person have their opinion and I really like how Cheryl looks. Her makeup and style reminds me a bit of my current favourite Youtuber Jen frmheadtotoe (although I think her smokey eyes look is a bit more natural), who has inspired me so much that I have a shopping list based on her favourite products! I thought it would be fun to do a post on what I would wear (if I can), inspired by Cheryl and Jen:
Makeup (top to bottom, left to right):
- Bare Minerals Mineral Foundation
- Bare Minerals Mineral Veil
- Makeup Forever Full Cover Liquid Concealer
- Em Cosmetics Chiaroscuro Contour & Highlighter Stick
- Benefit Coralista Coral Blush
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette
- Shara Shara Color Eyes Stick Shadow
- Royal Nature Pantone Shadowliner
- Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer
- Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder
Plus false eyelashes, an area where I have to do more research on!
For some reason the Korean style gradient lips really appeal to me, but it's more for an every day occasion. If I'm going to an event or party, I'd still go for a fully beautified lips.
I love both Cheryl and Jen's wavy curls! I wanted to get a Japanese permanent curl (not perm, but the one that uses the same technology as the Japanese permanent hair straightening), but people told me that it's still high maintenance and it's better that I curl whenever I want to. So now I just use the following products to style my hair:
Hair:
T3 SinglePass Hairstraightener
TRESemme Heat Defence Styling Spray
LOreal Paris Elnett Flexible Hold Hair Spray
It's not ideal and the curls are smaller than I want but I guess that will have to do. I will be doing more research on how to make those big wavy curls though!
On a side note, I absolutely love my new T3 SinglePass hairstraightener! it glides down my hair smoothly and effortlessly! A great buy I must say!
Outfit:
ASOS Dolphin Lace Hem Dress
Ganni Katia Suede Ankle Strapped Heeled Court Shoes
As I said before, I don't really have the body for a good outfit, but I saw the above on ASOS website and I just love how they pair! If only if I can pull it off.. #MustWorkHarder
Products above either already belong to me or are on my wishlist. Apart from the outfit. I'll only get them if I can slim down. And even then, I have to find a cheaper alternative to the £170 shoes! For now, I just have to be realistic and get something more suitable for me.
What about you, what's your favourite fashion and beauty products, and do you prefer Cheryl or Mel B's style?
