Toy Story 12” Action Armour Buzz Lightyear

Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear Toy, Christmas Gifts Idea

It seems not long ago when the first Disney Toy Story came out, but it's already a classic and a lot of their products has become collector's item. Even so, Mattel doesn't stop improving them, making sure that the toys are up to the new generation's expectation of fun!

We were sent the latest version of Buzz Lightyear - Action Armour Buzz Lightyear, which looks just like the actual Buzz Lightyear from the show! I told Abby that he'll come to life just like he did on TV (#naughtymum).

The new Disney Toy Story 12" Action Armour Buzz Lightyear (Suitable for 3 years+, RRP £49.99) comes with 3 AAA batteries, has 5 buttons and a lever. Each button features a different combination of light and sound in the 3 different modes - Space Ranger, Flight and Battle. There are over 30+ sounds and phrases. The lever folds the wings down, and the round button on his chest releases it. Press it again and it will release the Mega Blasters (see images below).

Buzz Lightyear's legs and waist are poseable, and the arms fully poseable. His shield can be raised, which activates a different set of phrases in different modes. There is an On/ Off button at the back, on the right under the flight pack, and a button on the left of the flight pack (next to his left armpit) that releases the flight pack when pressed, in which the battery pack is hidden.

Clay has been wow-ing a lot when I was taking pictures. As a blogger kid he has learned to wait until pictures are taken before he gets to play hehe. He has seen Toy Story before, making it much more special, especially when Buzz Lightyear looks identical to the one on TV (anything showing on TV to them is a TV show lol)!

He did struggle a little bit to keep Buzz Lightyear in place when he tried to press a button. The legs are fairly flexible so holding the body under the arm is the best way to hold onto Buzz Lightyear, making button pressing much easier. Clay loves him in his Flight mode most, as he can pretend flying Buzz everywhere! This is definitely more fun than an aeroplane!

Although Disney Toy Story isn't a new show, it's still one of the most popular, classic Disney show, and there is a huge fan base out there including the current little ones. I'm sure the new Action Armour Buzz Lightyear Deluxe Figure will make a lot of children happy this Christmas!
