This half term is full of activities! We've made cookies, carved pumpkins and built our own LEGO town. We've also been making laminated cards and Disney Princess plaques with Flair's Cool Create Shopkins Cool Cardz and Disney Princess Shaker Maker!

Flair Cool Create Shopkins Cool Cardz (£17.99, suitable for 6 years +) comes with a handbag style design studio, 15 cards in 3 designs, 15 laminates, 2 Shopkins themed sticker sheets, 1 felt pen, 2 ring stampers and ink pads, and an instruction sheet.

To make a cool cardz, simply decorate a card with the felt pen, stickers and stamps. Then place a laminate on the design studio, place the card in the middle of the laminate, and use the studio to help seal the card in the laminate.

This is really easy to do and the kids enjoyed making lots of cards! You can use them to make a lot of things like invitations, thank you cards, badges and tags, etc. You can easily buy the refill pack, and they have a lot of other designs to choose from too!

The Cool Create Disney Princess Shaker Maker - Cinderella and Rapunzel (£9.99, suitable for 5 years +) comes with a shaker maker cup, shaker maker lid, 2 character moulds, 2 display stands, a paint brush, 1 set of paints, 2 packets of shaker maker powders and an instruction sheet.

Another really easy to do craft, although there are a few steps you'll need to do rather quickly (from mixing the powder and water to setting it into the mould). Our Rapunzel came out beautifully with no air bubbles in sight. The edges aren't smooth because we had to chip off the extras, but you just need to buff it with sand paper or nail filer.

Abby tried to get a flesh colour, so I told her to follow the colour mixing guide on the box, and add some white paint. She's still in the middle of painting her plaque, but she really enjoyed it! I like the quality of the paint and paint brush, especially the thin soft brush!

The plaques came out really good, and since you can buy refills and other designs, it's really fun for the kids to create, collect and display the plaques!

Overall we love both crafts, especially the shaker maker! You can buy both online and in stores.
