Breakfast with Santa at Wyevale Garden Centre

Elfie! Love the Christmas tree and presents on the side, much better than just the board on its own
16 sleeps till Christmas! I'm obviously as excited as the kids, so when Wyevale Garden Centre invited us to meet Santa for Breakfast, I had to say yes! We went there 2 years ago as well for the breakfast, and things have certainly changed, but we think that they were great changes! They have kept the good things that we liked last time, and have made quite a bit of improvements as well to the whole garden centre. I think that the Leyland branch is certainly worth visiting.

The singing reindeers are still there! Love them!

Love the adorable Christmas decorations they sell
When we arrived, we were glad to see the singing reindeers again. They were very well maintained! We also saw little deer decorations scattered around the garden centre, and they were so cute that I almost brought one home!

They have also kept the Christmas treasure hunt tradition, but this time the kids had to find 6 little elves. We did the hunt after breakfast, which was nice to end our stay.

Yummy breakfast! Kids get to eat first so that they can meet Santa, or have a play in the indoor area while waiting

Adult breakfast is not bad either! Love my favourite hash brown. Egg is perfect too
This year the breakfast was held outside the function room, which means that we didn't get to see Santa at his grotto, but there was a bit more room for everyone. The breakfast area, right next to the indoor play room, was really Christmassy and we loved it just as much as we loved the grotto!

We sat down as soon as it was time, and the kids couldn't wait to pop their crackers! I must say that the crackers contained some of the more funny jokes I've seen inside Christmas crackers. The kids were also given colouring sheets and crayons, and a bag of chocolate coins each!

The children breakfasts came first, which was great to settle the starving kids down. From the look on their faces, I think the kids really enjoyed it. Most of the children that morning ate pretty quickly, and since it wasn't time to meet Santa yet, they all had fun in the indoor play room, while we adults enjoyed our breakfasts. All the drinks were refillable, just like last time, which has kept everyone happy!

When it was almost time, the helpful elves gave us a pre-warning so none of them have missed the opportunity to meet Santa.

Talking to Santa and getting their special presents
Santa was in a jolly mood when he arrived (as usual I guess!). He visited each table and high-fived the children before sitting at his chair (do you see where his hat is? Hehe!). When it was our turn, the children had a chat with him, and they were then given the choice to choose their own gift. I must say that the gifts were fantastic, and it took a lot of convincing to tell Clay not to open it until Christmas day!

The breakfast ends really nicely with a gingerbread tree for the kids to decorate
While the children took turn to talk to Santa, the elves placed a gingerbread tree decoration kit on their table. We loved this last time, and glad to see that they are still doing it. The kids had lots of fun decorating their tree! We were also given a foil to wrap them up to bring the decorated trees home, so the kids could enjoy them later.

Overall we had another fantastic experience at Wyevale Garden Centre. We stayed a bit longer, looking for the elves and all the lovely items they sell. We were especially amazed by the different sizes of real Christmas trees they have, and the outdoor area near the front door looked just like a Winter Wonderland!

Hopefully we will get our garden sorted by coming Summer, and we'll certainly make a point to visit again for some lovely gardening things.
