Although Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros is my favourite Mario Bros game (because of the RPG gameplay), Super Mario Maker is still the best one in 2D Platform format, and most value for money as well because you can literally play unlimited courses. We've recently played 3 courses created by Dick and Dom, and we must say that they are pretty good at the game.

Dick and Dom have each created a course, plus one that is designed by both of them.

Dick's The World of BOING (course code F15E-0000-0114-40CD) is full of bouncy steps. It's fun but it can be quite tricky because it's a bit harder to control Mario when he's constantly jumping. We were a bit frightened by the sight of Bowser at the end of the course too.

Dom's Dom Wood! (course code 9C14-0000-0108-C0F9) is the most challenging out of the 3 designs. It took me some time to figure out the trick to the first part (the kids gave up on this level hehe), but even though I know, it's still not easy to do it. It's certainly a race against time kind of level. I love the spooky theme too, which keeps you on edge while trying to get things done within the seconds only time frame.

Dick and Dom's Bowser's Bedroom! (course code C78F-0000-0124-C6FB) is a very fun level once you know the trick. It shows their sense of humour, and the classic Super Mario Bros. design suits the witty and playfulness too.

Overall we enjoyed the co-created level most, and had a good chuckle at it too. Dom's level is definitely most challenging. If you have Nintendo Wii U Super Mario Maker as well, why not give these courses a go? They are very inspirational as well and I'm sure will help with your own designs.
