Boxcitement Subscription Box - March "Animal Magic" Box

Boxcitement March Box
As many of you may already know, I've been really into planner/ journal decoration and crafting lately, so pretty stationery and crafting materials is all I want now. But there are so many cute and pretty ones out there ("stationery" itself is a very generic word as well), it's very hard to pick a selection without over spending. So a subscription box that comes with a surprise selection of goodies is perfect for me.

I am currently subscribing to one of the monthly planner box (stationery for decorating planners/ journals), which isn't quite my style, but the one that is comes from America and I'm not ready to pay international shipping plus 20% VAT plus custom handling fee on a selection of pretty stationery. The one I'm subscribed to is still fairly good but I'm always on the lookout for something better that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

So when I heard that Boxcitement, a gift/ lifestyle monthly subscription box service that contains products (especially stationery) designed by their own team, is looking for bloggers to review their box, I emailed them to volunteer, and was sent their March box to review.

Really neatly packed, and there is so much goodies inside!
Boxcitement Box (£18 per month that includes shipping fee to within the UK. Discounts available for other plans) is a monthly subscription box service, where each box will come with a range of uniquely designed products that can be anything from stationery, jewellery, accessories and crafts. There is a theme as well for each month, although it is only revealed when you've received the box.

The March Boxcitement Box is all about "Animal Magic". The box fits perfectly through our letter box so I don't have to worry about missing it, and everything is neatly packed inside and decorated with tissue paper, ribbons and sequins too, making me feel like I'm opening a box filled with gifts.

Exclusive laser-cut wooden bunny craft
The first item I saw after unwrapping the tissue paper is this cute Laser-cut Wooden Bunny, exclusively designed for Boxcitement. It is really easy to put him together, and you can even paint him too. It is well cut and you can easily push the bunny pieces out. I love the ribbon that was around the bunny as well!

Exclusive engraved Acrylic and Silver Plated Earrings with matching gift box
Receiving jewellery in a subscription box always makes me happy! And I was quite surprised to receive these cute Engraved Acrylic and Silver Plated Bird Earrings from Boxcitement as I wasn't expecting jewellery from them at all (I didn't really read in details what they include in their boxes to avoid spoilers). The matching gift box that they came in with is sturdy and together they make a really lovely gift for someone (or yourself!). The bright orange colour is very refreshing, making me look forward to the warmer days,

Various designs of fabric embellished hanging beastie. I received the beautiful butterfly
Another cute item from the March Boxcitement box is this Fabric Embellished Hanging Beastie. I've received the butterfly, but I've seen other designs on Instagram as well. The fabric is faux suede I think, with a Spring coloured butterfly sewed on top. We will be going on holiday this Summer, and I think she will make a perfect tag for my luggage.

High quality (my words because they are) printed tissue paper
The box also came with 2 large Animal Prints Tissue Papers, for wrapping up gifts or other crafts. The quality of the tissue paper is amazing, it's really thick but it's still tissue paper. It's also very smooth! I love the crocodile print because the colour is beautiful.

Greeting cards with envelopes
The 2 Greeting Cards that comes with envelopes are also designed by Boxcitement's own team, and they are both adorable, printed on really good quality card paper. I especially love the chick, which I'm definitely keeping for myself. Maybe I'll turn it into a really nice dashboard/ divider for my yellow planner. The envelope that comes with the chick card is very pretty as well, and has some kind of pearlescent sheen. That will make a nice pocket for my planner to put slips of papers inside.

The bear and its envelope is cute as well of course, and I know just the person to gift it to.

A set of postcards with stickers and mechanical pencil
Last but not least is a little packet tied with a neon pink string. It holds 3 animal print postcards, 2 "Hear Me Roar!" stickers and a leopard print mechanical pencil. If you are into animal prints, I'm sure you'll love these too.

I really like the "Animal Magic" theme, where they incorporated Easter to the box as well. The letterbox size box is perfect as it is annoying to miss a subscription box, and it can still hold a surprising amount of products inside. I love stationery, but I love it even more when a stationery and craft box comes with little gifts like a cute pair of earrings and a hanging beastie. The items and their designs are very inspiring, and there is a lot of way you can use these products instead of the obvious way (such as using the tissue paper to wrap the front and back cover of an otherwise boring notebook instead of wrapping up a gift).

Product quality is high, and designs are unique as they are done by the Boxcitement team themselves. I love the little touches they've added to the box as well (tissue paper, ribbons and sequins).

If you like a lifestyle - leaning towards stationery subscription box, or just love unique artwork, then this might be the box for you. You can check their Instagram account out for pictures to have a feel about their previous and upcoming April box too. I really like the April box teaser.
