Heinz Tomato Ketchup ‘Grow Your Own’ Campaign

Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Grow Your Own, win your own bottle of ketchup competition 2016

We are a big fan of Heinz products, especially their Tomato Ketchup, which we think that, so far, is irreplaceable! We also love brands who are willing to give something back to the nation, which Heinz has been doing for the 4th year this year with their Grow Your Own campaign.

This year, apart from a range of competitions held on their Facebook page, they've also partnered with pothole gardener Steve Wheen and planted several miniature Grow Your Own tomato gardens across the country (London, Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton, Bristol and Birmingham), hoping to bring the nation's attention back to the beauty of the UK gardens, and encourage people to grow their own food, especially tomatoes of course! Here are some pictures of the Birmingham and Manchester miniature tomato gardens:

Aren't they adorable?! They even came with mini bicycle and benches too. They are certainly brightening up the cities! Next time if you pop over to one of the big cities, do keep an eye on the floor because you might just find something this beautiful to brighten up your day!

And why not give Grow Your Own a go as well? It'll encourage children to eat more vegetables too. I remember how much Abby loved picking and eating our home grown salad and tomatoes, we must do it again this year!
