Derwent and Sheaffer Stationery
Although I love this festive season, planning and organising can be really stressful. To help, I was sent a lovely pen and notebook from Sheaffer to help me with my planning, and adult colouring book and colouring pencils from Derwent to help me destress.
I like Derwent's Unwind in the Wilds adult colouring book (£9.99, also come as a set with colouring pencils) because they have a section at the beginning that gives you pointers on some colouring basics. When the adult colouring book hype started, most of the pictures I saw on Instagram had each box filled in with a solid colour. It's easier of course (like what I did in the above picture), but the ones that really stood out on Instagram are the ones that has carefully selected colour choices with shading.
The paper quality is fantastic, and I like it that it's white instead of cream. The designs are a little bit more advanced though with lots of smaller details, but it's perfect for those who love the wildlife. It also come with designs where it encourage you to complete part of the details yourself.
The Coloursoft pencils look really professional, and like it's name, is softer than other colouring pencils, which makes colouring and shading much easier, and it's faster to achieve a more intense colour too. There are 72 colours in the range, which is a lot of colours!
I love the colour of my Sheaffer's pen, I think it's from their VFM (Vibrant, Fun and Modern) ball point pen range (approximately £9.40). The frosted teal colour can be spotted from far and even hubby had to come over and commented how nice it looks. I'm not normally a ball point pen person but I think it writes well.
The gunpowder metal colour notebook with a silver sheen on the edges are part of Sheaffer's Sentinel ball point pen gift sets (RRP £19.95), and it has a section for websites and blogs, making it a perfect gift for bloggers as well as those who love to browse the Internet. It is a pocket size so will fit snuggly in bags. I use it for my daily To Dos at the moment, but I might bring it with me to bloggers events so I can write down important email/ URL address.
Overall really glad to receive the above from Derwent and Sheaffer, they will certainly help me get through the end of 2016!
