LEGO Friends Dog Show
I have a confession to make. The person in this household that loves LEGO Friends and LEGO Elves the most is me. The kids love them too, but they prefer the LEGO City and LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS. So when we were sent a few sets from the LEGO Friends Dog Show range, I was the most excited person in this household, and thought that it's finally my turn to play.
I couldn't be more wrong. I was fixing the kids a snack after school and when I got the food out, Abby was completing the set I opened before school run, and Clay had opened the other box to build. He already built the first box the night before!
They said:"But it's so cute! *blink blink blink*"
So no, I didn't get to do anything *insert sad emoji*.
I guess I should have seen it coming, because the puppies that came with the LEGO Friends Dog Show range are really cute, and the sets are so colourful too. We were sent:
LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Championship (41300, RRP £17.99, target age 5+)
LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Playground (41303, RRP £3.99, target age 5+)
LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Treats & Tricks (41304, RRP £3.99, target age 5+)
and together they make a fab Dog Show already! There are 6 puppies in the range (5 sets) to collect, and each of them have a name too.
The LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Playground comes with LEGO puppy Sky, and you'll be building a tilting seesaw, jump with knockable bar, and a big hoop jump with a bone as a reward.
We have always seen bones with LEGO dogs and puppies, but it's the first time we see dog biscuits and they are so cute!
The LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Treats & Tricks comes with LEGO puppy Cookie, and you'll be building a doghouse and a ramp. The set also comes with a skateboard and a plate of treats.
How cute is Cookie riding his skateboard?! The LEGO puppies work hard to master their skills, so a doghouse for a good rest is definitely needed.
The LEGO Friends Dog Show Puppy Championship set comes with LEGO Friends Mia, LEGO puppies Scout and Tina, accessories, puppy treats, judging paddle and rosettes, and you'll be building the dog show stage that has grand entrance doors, revolving turntable, agility seesaw, a jump with knockable bar, grooming station and a feeding trolley.
If a dog stage in real life looks like the one in this set, it'll be really grand! We love how puppies enter the stage through the entrance doors, walk up the steps and slide down, then stand on the turntable to show off their well groomed coat, and do tricks on the stage before they get judged (it's a 10!).
We've put the 3 sets together and our dog show looks like this:
Both kids loved playing with the LEGO Friends Dog Show sets! Who cares if LEGO Friends was aimed for girls? The Dog Show range is perfect for any dog lovers!
The sets are out now in all good toy stores.
