Nintendo Switch 1-2-Switch and Snipperclips: Cut it Out. Together!

If you are following us on social media, especially YouTube, you might have heard that I got a Nintendo Switch as my early birthday present! I've been waiting for it since last March, so it really made my day! In case you are interested, I did a slideshow style YouTube video review for the Nintendo Switch, with close up shots and details printed on screen. You can watch it by simply clicking on the purple link and it'll take you there.

Of course, just the console on its own isn't good enough. Nintendo has kindly sent me a few of the newly launched Nintendo Switch games to review, including Nintendo Switch 1-2-Switch, which is a must have for fun party games and to really have a feel for all the Nintendo Switch's new features.

There is also the indie game (we call it Nindie for Nintendo indie games!) developed in the UK (yes!) for Nintendo - Nintendo Switch Snipperclips: Cut it out. Together!, which is another fantastic multiplayer puzzle solving game, perfect for training siblings to work together (as an example)!

We have done a vlog for both games, which you can watch in this post as well (below). You can also find a bit more information here.

Nintendo Switch 1-2-Switch (RRP £39.99, pegi 7) is a multiplayer, face-to-face party game (you are to look at your opponent instead of the screen), which comes with 28 mini games. It mainly test players responses, and show off Nintendo Switch's amazing features, especially the HD rumble, which allow players to actually feel how many balls are rolling in a box (for example).

Abby and Clay showed a few of their favourite games on the YouTube video, and you can see how much fun they had! Their reactions are just so funny!

You can find out more about the other games here.

Nintendo Switch Snipperclips: Cut it Out. Together! (RRP £17.99, pegi 3) is a puzzle solving game for 1 to 4 players. It's best to play as 2 to 4 players, but if you want to play solo, it will work too, it just won't be as fun.

Players are to control a character each, check out what their task is in each stage, and work together to solve the puzzle by supporting each other, as well as cutting each other into useful shapes that'll help the task.

The puzzles can sometimes be quite challenging, but they are really fun challenges, and with the colourful details and funny expressions on the characters, the kids absolutely love this game. They do spend a lot more time than needed to solve the task because they love being silly as well!

We are especially impressed with Abby, who can quickly find ways to solve the tasks (see pictures above) with clever moves, and she knows exactly what shape they need to be to do it.

We like both the Nintendo Switch 1-2-Switch and Snipperclips: Cut it out. Together! games. They are both great for party, and there are lots of hilarious moments during plays. Either game will guarantee lots of laughter.

However, they really are games that you should play with someone to get the most fun out of them. If you need some single player time like me, I'd suggest checking out one of Nintendo's most successful game - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for either Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Wii U, which I'll be reviewing on YouTube soon. If you would like to check it out, do subscribe to our YouTube channel so you won't miss it.
