GumiGem Teething Necklace

If you have been following my blog, you would have known by now that Clay has been chewing on everything he can get his hands on. I seriously don't remember Abby being anything like that, she just like to suck on a corner of a hand towel, that's all.

We finally see some white teeth bulging underneath his gums. Looks like they'll break through very soon. Although that also means that he need more things to chew on.

A while ago I saw an advert for GumiGem, which is definitely the next thing to get for a teething baby.

About the product:
  • £11.25 (Sale price at the moment)
  • Necklace for mum to wear and baby to chew on
  • Disc, lightning and heart shape with different pattern to choose from
  • Made of non toxic soft flexible silicone
  • Has a breakaway clasp for safety

My review:

I was allowed to choose a necklace from their range, and it took me quite some time as there are so many choices! I chose The Heaton at the end and really love it. It looks very modern and fashionable, and it's great for when I'm holding Clay by keeping his little hands and mouth busy!

Appearantly Denise Van Outen and Michelle Heaton are fans as well!

The only thing I recommend NOT doing is be tempted to cut the cord short like I did. Unless you are prepared to keep your baby very close to you at all times while they keep pulling at the necklace trying to munch on the pendant!

Although it is targeted at mummies, I think a few of the pattern in lightning and disc shapes are quite suitable for daddies too ;)

Disclosure: I was given a GumiGem necklace to try; all opinions are honest and my own
