Melissa & Dough Friendship Stamp Set

Since young I have been into art and craft things. From colourful papers and pens, to sparkly beads and professional art cases, I love them all. Not that I'm good at it, but I just love them as they are so pretty and colourful, and they make beautiful things.

I made it a point for not visiting craft blogs because I will want to make all the pretty things the bloggers made, and the results are always disappointing because I'm just not good at it. Still, I love to have all the pretty things! My hubby, who knows me very well, made sure I'm not allowed to buy any craft items unless I swear I'll make the most out of it. So far the only thing I kept to my promise is anything related to making food.

Nowadays, if I want any arty crafty things, I use Abby as an excuse. "Ooo Abby can do with this" "I'm buying this for Abby!" and then I'll put it aside in case they disappear in her toy pile "I'm putting it away for Abby!" "You can only use it if you take great care of it"

Anyway. I was lucky to catch Tots'n'Toys Twitter request. They have kindly provided us a wooden stamp set to review. Stamps! Yes please! I want them! I think Abby would love to make some nice pictures with them.

My review:

We love this stamp set! I saw these selling somewhere for over £15.00, so I think that £10.27 with no delivery charge is really a good price. The stamps are well made, and pictures comes out easily with a fine sharp line. I was surprised with the quality of the colouring pencils, they are soft and easy to colour, not like many other ones where you use a lot of effort and the colour is still too light to see.

It took Abby a little while to get used to stamping,  but she absolutely loved her set, and she has been playing with the set every day since we got it! The ink are her favourite colour, and I love the idea of it being washable!
