What to do with Old Clothes

selling your clothes, buy back website

Being pregnant twice means that my body has gone through many changes, which means that I had to buy plenty of clothes for each phase. The new phase has started since Clay has stopped breastfeeding, and my hormones has changed from "your priority is looking after the baby" to "doll yourself up and have fun!". So I had to go for a shopping spree. I was told by my body to do so. Especially when I am about to attend BritMums Live 2013 Bloggers event in 3 weeks time, and a new outfit or two is required *nods head*.

Now that I have freshened up my wardrobe, I had a good look around me and found lots of old clothes that I never wear anymore. Obviously some will go to charities, but some were only worn once or twice and with the economy nowadays, it seems more fitting if I try selling them first.

I was introduced to a website called musicMagPie which allows you to sell a lot of your old unwanted things in one place. They accept the usual electronics, discs and games, but lately they have also included an option for you to sell your clothes! All I had to do is to select the brand, garment type, colour, material, sex it's for and it will show you the amount you will get for it. It will be added to a list so you can keep adding stuff before finalising the amount, really handy! You can then send the items to them for free as well.

This is a great way to flock your old items if you find Ebay a hassle but also don't fancy doing a car boot sale. The amount really depends on the garment especially the brand and the demand, but it's worth checking on there for what you can get, especially when the process is so simple! And then of course you can use the money you get to renew your wardrobe further!

Happy selling everyone!
