A new animation that is all about friendship is releasing in time for 2016's first half term holiday - LEGO Friends: Girlz 4 Life, the first ever feature length film of LEGO Friends, is one worth looking out for!

LEGO Friends' fans will see the main characters - Olivia, Emma, Andrea, Mia and Stephanie meeting Livi the mega pop star for the first time in Heartlake City. The wanted Livi's help with their hit song "Girlz", but Livi's manager stole it from them instead. While trying to get their song back and get Livi to do the right thing, they've learned that their friendship is much more important than fame.

The kids were really excited to watch the movie, although a bit surprised that it wasn't brick-like. We still love the animation with gorgeous colours and 3D effects very much, and I kind of think that it not being brick-like is probably the right choice.

When a mean girl appeared, both me and Abby went: "Mean girl alert!" We both thought that there isn't any mean girls in Heartlake City (we haven't seen the TV series), as we thought that it is a peaceful town where everyone is nice to each other. But I guess nowhere is perfect? I do like that the film shows that being a mean girl is going to get you no where.

The main message is how important friendship is of course, and there is no "I" in "TEAM".

The animation is positive, funny, colourful with lovely graphics and great catchy songs. We all really enjoyed the show, even Clay, who got very grumpy when we had to pause it for half an hour, loved it.

LEGO Friends: Girlz 4 Life (RRP £7.99) will be available on DVD from Monday 15th February 2016, and it comes with extras including:

- extra scenes
- Karaoke version of "You got the Look"
- dance routines and dance lessons performed by L2M (a new girl group with 11 to 12 years olds, who also sang the theme song "Girlz". You can find out more about them here
- Official Music video "Girlz" performed by L2M
